Say Yes

For a long time, I chose to look for validation in other things, in other people and not within myself. For a long time, I chose to continuously ask questions about how this is, how is that, and never gave myself credit for already doing the groundwork. For a long time, I thought of myself as not being worthy of things I received all because I thought I wasn’t ready for them. But the truth is, when are we ever really ready for things? Some things you are never going to ready for and you must take a leap in faith and just say Yes to yourself.

For a long time, I thought of becoming a doctor and applying for medical school. I should have done this in 2017, but I was scared I wasn’t going to be accepted into medical school. Never did I believe I would act on my dream and apply to the University of Bridgeport let alone also get in. (The story of me applying is a funny one and a random one). This is a true testament to not only me but also showcase that believing in yourself can manifest itself into blossoming a beautiful future for you moving forward.

If you are thinking of pursuing anything right in this moment of you reading my blog, I’m telling you to “Do It”! Don’t ask for validation, don’t ask for assistance, believe in yourself, and just say yes! You’ll be happier you chose to believe in yourself and manifest your wildest dreams. I’m living in this happy place, and I can attest that I am truly happy.
