My name is Karla White and I am a plant enthusiast and educator.

Karla White was born and raised in Waterbury, CT. Karla studied Biological Anthropology with a concentration of Recreational Therapy at Southern Connecticut State University. She completed her MS in Criminal Justice in 2017. Starting in the fall of 2025, Karla will be studying to complete a Doctoral degree in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. Karla takes pride in advocating for mental health awareness and growth through her platform and brand: PlantedbyK. With losing a great loss of her best friend Talisa Henry, Karla was inspired to begin her journey of serving others while finding herself.

The mission is to create an atmosphere that uplifts you to nurture not only your plants but also your own personal growth and sense of purpose.
